Since the connection to the TM1 Server(s) is live, all database updates and reporting occur in real time, irrespective of whether the client is connected to the TM1 server using an OLAPObjects for TM1 based web page, or whether the more traditional spreadsheet client is used.
Non-technical TM1 administrators can build reports directly from Microsoft Excel using the OLAPObjects Publisher Excel add-in.
